What Growth Universe observes, and who sees what.
The programme
How growth is observed
- During sessions, coaches make structured observations, and children reflect on what they experience. These help the school and the family understand engagement and how capabilities are developing.
- We don't score a child's character. No child is given a personality score.
Who sees what
School, home and child
The school
Sees the cohort
It receives participation and reflection data and periodic summaries: participation, emerging strengths and areas that may benefit from further attention. It does not see a child's private thoughts.
Parents
See their own child's journey
Families receive age-appropriate updates on participation, developing capabilities and areas of growth, along with home experiences and reflection prompts.
The child
Sees their own journey
Children reflect, record what they noticed and return to ideas over time.
At home
What stays with the family
- The child's journal is private and is never collected.
- Home materials stay with the family. Growth Universe does not ask families to return journals, mission cards, photographs or proof of completion.
- Taking part in a home mission never requires a family to submit anything to Growth Universe.
This website
What the site collects
- The site collects only what the enquiry form asks: your name, role, school, city, state, email, phone and message.
- No form on this site asks for a child's name or details. Please do not include them in your message.
- The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Google Analytics uses cookies and records general details such as your device type and approximate location; it does not tell us who you are.
- The two checks (“Are your students ready for life?” and “Is your child ready for life?”) run in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us. Only the result, meaning which dimensions came out on top and whether it was the school or the parent check, is counted in Google Analytics, with nothing that identifies you.
- The site carries no advertising trackers.
